About the role: We are seeking a skilled and talented System Administrator to join our IT team in La Jolla. This position requires strong knowledge and experience with corporate IT systems, Google Workspace, Office 365, MDM Platforms, firewalls, and network support.
A day in the life of our System Administrator: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and security updates on end user devices. Administer and support Google Workspace, user accounts, mailboxes, groups, and organizational units. Configure and maintain Google Workspace security settings and policies. Support and troubleshoot any issues with Google Workspace apps, Gmail, gDrive, Calendars, gDocs. Administer and support Office 365 applications Exchange. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various SaaS applications. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users experiencing issues with Zoom video conferencing and RingCentral communication tools. Deploy and set up Zoom Rooms, RingCentral accounts, and other conferencing hardware and peripherals. Monitor Zoom Rooms performance, implement regular updates, and ensure system uptime. Administer and support LAN and firewalls. Collaborate with the internal IT team to resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to end user productivity, Zoom video conferencing, and RingCentral. Stay up to date with the latest updates and security enhancements released by OS systems, SaaS applications, Zoom, and RingCentral services, and implement upgrades as needed. Maintain technical documentation, manuals, and IT Policies. Who We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in Corporate IT System Administration with a focus on end user support and troubleshooting communication and collaboration tools. Proficiency with Windows OS, MAC OS, Microsoft Office Suite. Familiar with device management platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf. Proficient in administering Zoom and RingCentral platforms, including user management, permissions, and integrations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an end user service-oriented approach to provide technical support. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Experience supporting Meraki Switches, Sophos Firewalls. Experience with LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP protocols, Radius. Familiar with ITIL processes is desirable. Positive, can-do attitude and teamwork. Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in the La Jolla, CA Office. The salary range for this role is $106,000 - $127,000. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
