PMAT is seeking a System Administrator (Networks) to be a key contributor in supporting an advanced DoD tactical information system. This position will support operationally fielded prototype systems that will transition to full production in the near future. The system that will be primarily supported is the Minotaur Mission Management System designed to ingests sensor data from various sources to enhance a mission operator's track identification capabilities. We are looking for someone that is impact-focused, demonstrates strong leadership potential, and is passionate about ensuring we deliver a relevant system to our customers. You will be a critical member of a highly experienced, forward leaning engineering team partnering with designers, developers, and product managers to deliver secure, high-performance systems at scale. Duties in this role include integrating existing and new capabilities into operationally fielded systems on various operational platforms and watch floors. You will provide support for all stages of the software, hardware, and network engineering, including design, implementation, installation, integration, test, and sustainment. Active TS/SCI Clearance required and must be willing to complete Polygraph as required by the customer. Location: Denver, CO TECHNICAL SKILLS LINUX/UNIX command line interface (CLI) system administration expertise CISCO networking experience, including creation, implementation, and management of L2/L3 switching/routing configurations Ability to perform high-level error debugging of the graphic user interface by examining application logs and xml-based configurations as well as perform advanced troubleshooting of associated computer/network hardware Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems per DoD direction Conduct on-demand vulnerability scans utilizing Nessus Manager (or equivalent tools) and mitigate vulnerabilities per DoD direction Utilizing existing documentation and working with mission partners to build physical and virtual servers/workstations Working knowledge of military tactical data links (Link-16, IBS/CIB) Documentation skills to develop instructions and drawings as required GENERAL SKILLS: Attending project meetings as required, including coordination with contractors and clients Build, Install, and modification of electrical components and subassemblies, which may include: power cabling, data buss interconnects, control wiring Use a basic variety of hand tools and test equipment to fabricate/assemble IT systems and associated connections/wiring. Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds Be part of a team building deployable field units in Aurora, Colorado and fielding/installing at remote sites CONUS/OCONUS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS Required Bachelor's degree. Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, Linux+, VMware Certified Professional, or equivalent are preferred but not required.
