Description SAIC is looking for a Systems Administrator in Crane, IN . JOB DESCRIPTION: As the Command-and-Control System Administrator, you will be a critical member of our Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) team responsible for the installation, maintenance, and optimization of hardware and software systems essential for TACP operations. JOB DESCRIPTION: upgrading network configurations, implementing security interface updates, and meticulously documenting system designs. Providing technical support and guidance to TACP personnel on system-related issues and best practices. Tasking may include but not limited to: Support the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementing of network configuration and security. Set-up, configure, operate, and maintain C2 systems for TACP Systems. Implement security interface updates to safeguard sensitive information and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Provide on-site operations and training support. Provide troubleshooting and document resolution for issues encountered during FMF operations, system integration, test preparation and execution, engineering, and training efforts. Development of documentation to include but not limited to: test plans, configuration guides, and operation reports. Support daily operational requirements of computer network systems including computers, routers, tactical radios, and servers on classified and unclassified networks. Installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network configuration, network security, interface and updates, and system design documentation. Development of Programmatic system network architectures documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with at least three (3) years' experience performing System Administration for the DoD. Additional years of experience accepted in lieu of degree. Ideal candidate would possess minimum three years' experience operating, testing, administration, or maintaining Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) systems or similar such as Common Aviation Command & Control System (CAC2S), Composite Tracking Network (CTN), or Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS). Must meet the DoDM 8140.03 qualification standards for Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (CSWF) certificate. In-depth knowledge of DoD information Assurance requirements to provide support in implanting policies and procedures. Working knowledge of one or more Military Standards (MIL-STD), i.e., Link-16 (MIL-STD-6016), JREAP (MIL-STD-3011), and/or VMF (MIL-STD-6017). Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing and switching. Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server Operating Systems. Interim Secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
