Job DescriptionPRIMARY PURPOSE Have a strong understanding with Software Development, *nix & Networking Technologies.The ideal candidate will have past experience working as a systems engineer & enjoys keeping technical skills reasonably current, to the point that he/she can still contribute to architecture discussions.The candidate regularly would take part in deep-dive troubleshooting exercises and drive technical post-mortem discussions to identify the root cause of complex issues.Have strong project & systems engineering experience.The successful candidate will collaborate to create technology roadmaps with the team.This will include helping innovate and invent new value-add services layered on top of our existing services.SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Experience with *nix systems (Unix / Linux admin knowledge)Scripting experience in Unix / Linux & WLSTExperience with system data & analyticsKnowledge of Network fundamentals (including diagnostics with Unix / Linux tools)Ability to architect technology solutions & guide on system performance, sizing etc.Understanding of Application Performance Management toolsKnowledge of Load Balancers (Big IP F5 – LTM, GTM, ASM etc.) is a plusExcellent verbal communication skillsCollaborative & team focusA strong technical foundation in build, release and environmentsEagerness to learn enough about whatever tools & tricks are needed to get the job doneAbility to occasionally work off-hours / weekendsMinimum Qualifications/Must Have: 8+ years of Technical Experience in J2EE Application Servers and Webservers8+ years of experience with *nix systemsExperience with Unix / Linux scriptingFamiliar with concepts of Networking & Load BalancingExcellent Communications & analytical skillsAdditional InformationTechnical Recruiter
