Essential Job Responsibilities
Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that's always up and running.
Will join a talented team responsible for the company's IT performance in an infrastructure which spans multiple offices within different CONUS locations.
Partner with applicable stakeholders to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
The ideal candidate likes to automate processes, troubleshoot system issues, and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.
Minimum Qualifications
Security Clearance: A U.S. Government Secret level clearance is highly desired, but not required to start. Will be processed for a Secret clearance if do not have a current one; U.S. Citizenship required.
0 year's experience with System Administration with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
Experience with BASH, Python, or other scripting languages for automation and task orchestration in cloud environments.
Extensive experience managing IT infrastructure in AWS environment.
Hands-on experience with containerization platforms such as Docker.
Experience managing IT systems including Linux and MacOS ensuring compliance with security requirements and NIST standards.
Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols, with a strong understanding of security best practices based on NIST standards.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Must be able to work a hybrid schedule out of our local office.
Preferred Requirements
Relevant IT Certifications are desired: AWS, Linux +, RCSA, Security +.
Prior experience with Gitlab, JAMF, Google Workspace, Terraform.
Knowledge of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Physical Requirements
Able to lift at least 50 lbs
