Job summary
Supports the IT Service department's customer-facing server infrastructure design, procurement, deployment and support.Takes day-to-day direction from the IT Service Supervisor supporting customer project activities.Support customer-facing server, virtualization, and storage design, procurement, and provisioning across a variety of manufacturers.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Work efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary IT services team.• Effectively and professionally communicate with colleagues and customers.• Participate in customers' enterprise IT/OT solutions design and architecture.• Assure that all system changes are properly tested and documented.• Possess a basic working knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 networking fundamentals.• Respond to (and resolve, where applicable) tickets assigned through customer support ticketing systems.• Assist in product evaluations as directed by the IT Manager.• Mentor team members who show interest in these areas of responsibility.
