Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is searching for a full time Systems Administrator in NSWC PHD operations in Port Hueneme, CA.
Responsibilities Perform system administration on specialized cyber defense applications and systems (e.g., antivirus, audit and remediation) or VPN devices, to include installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, and restoration.Provide Local Area Network/Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) support. This includes maintaining and repairing existing architectures, the design and installation of new network infrastructure including Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) crypto-graphic devices, and developing implementation recommendations for Government review. Request and maintain keys for setting up TACLANEs (Type 1 certified encryptors) for secure communications, conference calls, and video tele-conferencing to resolve support issues.Provide technical input/assistance, implementation guidance, and assistance with IT hardware infrastructure design, system topology, and application of DoD Information Assurance policies for securing environments in accordance with DISA STIGs.Ensure the computing environment is monitored and maintained to ensure compliance with the current and future directives, guidance, and Standard Operating procedures. Document any deviations found and resolution implemented as part of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.Provide cable infrastructure support. This includes hard wiring, testing, labeling, installing, and upgrading data cable infrastructure.Provide communication support for internal and external parties. This support includes scheduling test events in support of pre-defined requirements, set-up and/or tear down of scheduled events, VTC support, network transport, and troubleshooting/resolving issues.Ensure equipment is properly maintained and ready to support scheduled command test events on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis. Required Skills/ExperiencesBS Degree.Minimum of 5 years of experience with system administration on specialized cyber defense applications and systems (e.g., antivirus, audit and remediation) or Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) devices.Minimum of five years of Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 Infrastructure experience.Experience supporting the RMF process, specifically the implementation of DISA STIGs for system hardening.Experience with cabling management.Current U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. Desire Skills/ExperiencesFive or more years of experience with scoping, architecture and design of new network infrastructure including crypto-graphic and long haul requirements.Experience providing Naval fleet support. CertificationsIAT II.Salary Range: $102,000-$143,000 commensurate with experience.
