We're actively seeking a talented Systems Analyst to join our Consume Markets Division (CMD) Illustrations department in Newport Beach, CA.

This role is hybrid.
We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.
The CMD Illustrations team within Pacific Life Technology develops and maintains the desktop and web applications which financial professionals use to sell Pacific Life products.
The Systems Analyst is part of a team made up of analysts and developers and is responsible for analyzing business requirements for the applications and performing quality assurance testing to ensure those requirements are met.
This individual will be expected to complete projects using established testing methodologies while developing skills in creating new test scenarios and gaining experience with Life Insurance products and Sales concepts.

How you'll help move us forward: Analyze product specifications and business requirements to establish testing scope and estimate level-of-effort.
Review requirements and create detailed technical documentation to guide the development of software applications.
Conduct thorough testing to ensure software quality, accuracy, and reliability.
Follow and promote quality assurance best practices and policies to maintain high standards.
Identify and escalate risks or issues promptly and clearly to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner.
The experience you bring: Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related field with 0-2 years of experience Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also excelling in a collaborative team environment.
What makes you stand out: Familiarity with the insurance industry a plus.
Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to read and code macros being an added advantage.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting.
The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location.
Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.


$35.18 - $43.00
