Overall Position Summary and Objectives:
About Us:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Analyst (PeopleSoft) to join our team in support of the Cash Draw and Expenditure Reporting (CDER) Project. This project involves re-platforming an existing mainframe system to a PeopleSoft Bolt-on module, similar to a custom Grants Module. As a Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in planning, analysis, and technical implementation to meet user requirements and enhance process automation.
Responsibilities
Utilize standard project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to address project needs.
Assist in creating, maintaining, and enforcing global standards.
Conduct Application Design Sessions with customers and IT staff to define system requirements and create technical system designs.
Design system solutions aligned with business requirements and organizational goals.
Develop test plans, execute test activities, and ensure new programs meet business requirements.
Review documentation, perform quality assurance, and ensure compliance with program requirements and standards.
Assist in diagnosing problems associated with the PeopleSoft Financials application.
Design and implement integrations between PeopleSoft and other systems using Integration Broker and web services.
Write detailed specifications, perform process design, and correct custom modules as designed.
Requirements
8+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst in a technical or analytical field.
Hands-on experience in design, implementation, and support of applications.
Experience with PeopleSoft configuration, testing, and developing training documentation.
Proficiency in SQL, People Tools (People Code Language, Application Engine, Component Interface, SQR), and SaaS applications.
Strong business analysis skills and experience in developing custom PeopleSoft solutions.
Experience with Test Tools such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., IBM Data Studio, Squirrel).
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Analyst or Developer.
Experience with SQL Language and Agile or Hybrid Software Development Methodologies.
Familiarity with CAPPS, WRAPS, and USAS systems.
