About the job Systems Analyst
Essential duties and responsibilities Research and prepare reports and statistical analysis in support of the Financial Aid office using SQL Server Reports Services.
Conduct research and resolve problems in relation to processes, and monitor processes to determine areas for improvement.
Create workflows and automate processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Transfer files to and from vendors using multiple technologies such as SFTP.
Create and maintain systems integrations to ensure data accuracy.
Respond to request for complex queries from the college database system, gather, compile and perform initial data analysis.
Develop systematic documentation of computer applications written for the Financial Aid areas.
Evaluate and put into practice new systems functionalities.
Provide the Director of Technical Operations on emerging technology challenges and opportunities with respect to the PowerFAIDS system and other system tools to support the Financial Aid functions.
Identify, troubleshoot and rectify student financial aid applications problems working with IT and/or other functional areas, and with outside consultants to solve procedural, operational and technical problems.
Assist with or performs special projects as assigned.
Assist with documents processing.
Support SFS staff members with forms, applications, data, workflows, etc.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B.
A.)
from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
