The Systems Architect is responsible for all aspects of Windows server infrastructure, with a key responsibility for architecture of windows infrastructure, and connected technologies. In addition to core server administration tasks, this role involves managing certificates, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and various other on-premises and cloud applications. The role will include a focus on the overall design and architecture of IT systems, ensuring they align with business goals and strategies. The role will provide a high-level vision and roadmap for technology implementation. The role work with technology at all levels from architecture to basic support.
What You Will Do
Design, build, manage and maintain Windows-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Architecture and administration of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, and other connected technologies
Design, drive implementation of, perform upgrades, manage migrations, perform optimizations, troubleshoot, and administer proactive monitoring solutions, server management platforms, robust backup systems, virtualization systems, and other technologies
VMWARE administration
Okta administration
Rubrik administration
Work closely with Information Security team to quickly remediate any security concerns that arise
Provide Level 3 support to Service Desk team
Execute project tasks related to systems and applications
Manage systems to ensure optimal efficiency and functionality
Write and utilizing scripts, templates, interfaces, and utility applications to enhance functionality
Work on designing, building, and implementing automation to improve efficiency in collaboration with cross-departmental IT teams
Support integration of platforms via SSO
Create and maintain robust technical documentation, including architectural and data-flow diagrams
Participate in on-call coverage as needed
Support key initiatives as defined by management
What You Will Need
7+ years experience supporting Windows based technologies in a 24x7 environment. Leveraging an agile approach and record of performing systems lifecycle management through IaC (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Intune)
7+ years supporting Active Directory
5+ years experience supporting backup systems
5+ years experience providing IT Support a plus

What We Offer
The base salary range for this position is $125K to $135K/year. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
