YOUR TASKS FORVIA -HELLA is seeking its next great systems engineer / Architect to join our growing Body Controls team. The primary function of this position will be to partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive development of our next generation product design. If chosen for this opportunity you will gain access to product engineering focused on the next generation products.
Daily Responsibilities Responsible for governance of system 1,2, and 3 processes as per ASPICE with support from system analysts and the requirements manager.Manage the creation of the System Requirements Specification based on the specified Customer Requirements.Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and mechanical engineering, to define system architecture and interfaces.Defines and plans risk management in the project for the overall product in terms of construction, hardware and software or of a system and its components.Supports new program acquisition and current program redesign changes.Plans and conducts the integration/test at system level with support from Overall Test Manager.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science engineering or similar.5+ years experience in automotive ECU development: Closure Control Units, Power liftgates, Seat control Modules, Occupant Detection Systems, etc. This includes daily duties such as evaluating, analyzing, and eliciting requirements.Firm understanding of positional software such as Doors / Rhapsody, MS Office products, and version control tools.Great communication and collaboration skills working with both internal and external global stakeholders.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a strong ability to analyze complex systems.Ability/willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Travel Preferred (but not required) Qualifications 5+ years leading the architectural development of automotive embedded products (electrical HW design, Embedded Software Development or ECU verification and validation).Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science engineering or similar.Prior exposure to positional topics and tools areas such as AUTOSAR, ASPICE, Functional Safety, Cyber Security, FMEA Can/Vectortools, and Matlab.INCOSE CSEP or equivalent.Why Forvia Hella?
