Responsibilities
Sentinel is looking for a Systems Engineer to assist on of our clients.
This candidate would be responsible for maintaining and supporting Microsoft Windows and Linux servers.
They would also be providing support for application issues and aids application support personnel.
The role would be on an after-hour on-call rotation.
This is a hybrid role reporting to our client location in East Chicago, IN. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree related field; equivalent combination of education and 4 years' experience may also be considered.
4 years of server related experience with different hardware platforms and operating systems Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems mandatory.
2 - 4 years of experience implementing, maintaining and monitoring servers such as Windows, Unix, Linux and/or VMware.
2 years' experience required in IIS and Web Services 2 years' experience required in Active Directory Services 2 years' experience required in virtualization Minimum 2 years' experience administering Microsoft Exchange Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
MCSE or MCP certification preferred The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude
