This opportunity is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer Senior to support our program with the following responsibilities:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Perform analysis at all levels of total system product including: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Support Systems Engineering Modernization team through these standardization tasks. Successful candidates would have: 4+ years of systems engineering experience, with experience in systems and data analysis. Bachelor's degree in a related engineering or STEM discipline. Ability to work within a dynamic and fast-paced team. US citizenship to access secure government facilities. Basic Qualifications: Experience in performing data modeling to evaluate and standardize processes using related and unrelated data. Experience in project leadership supporting goal setting, communications, delegating tasks, etc. Experience in advanced visualization, translating complex systems data into visual representations to analyze systems meet customer product requirements. Working knowledge or experience in standardizing data across teams and implementing the data governance strategies. Desired Skills: Experience performing Systems Engineering activities associated with Model Based applications. Experience with data modeling, forecasting, data integration, and data governance. Ability to present and communicate systems analyses and proposals in a professional manner for executive and customer review. Prior experience as a team lead or mentor, supporting training and development. Clearance Level: None
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
