About the role: As a Systems Engineering Manager at Kiddom, you'll have the opportunity to lead a talented team of (5+) systems and security engineers while driving meaningful, transformative work in the K-12 education space. \n Qualifications:5+ years of software engineering work experience.3+ years of experience in people management leading Systems or Infrastructure teams of 8+ engineers, including hands-on technical management building backend services.Ideally experience with: (Golang, Python, Node.js, JS)Expertise in AWS and Kubernetes is essential, along with the ability to mentor, delegate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.You are strong in balancing priorities and making thoughtful decisions to meet immediate technical needs.You are able to participate in architecture and product discussions with engineers, contributing to informed decisions.You have a proven track record of shipping quality products on time.A customer-centric mindset and will apply that to building out platform services.You are highly organized and thrive in fast-paced environments with a structured approach to team operations.You can provide objective feedback, supporting individual and team growth.Growth mindset - you're eager to expand your skill set and excited to carve out your career path in a hyper-growth settingAdaptability, resiliency, and ability to thrive in ambiguity - things can change quickly, and you'll need to help the team evolve
\n$180,000 - $225,000 a year
