What you will be doing:

Are you ready to dive into the heart of endpoint management? Buckle up, because we're about to embark on an exhilarating journey through the realms of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).

Your Role:

Standardization Apprentice: Help create consistent systems across the state. Participate with specialists in other disciplines to develop and maintain standards and conventions for system architecture, security, source code control, coding, documentation, testing and production system monitoring and operations. Manage integration of our Endpoint services with our other enterprise solutions such as O365, Directory, Enterprise Applications, Security and Governance. Think of it as organizing a digital sock drawer!

Infrastructure Support: Dive into Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM) and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) environment where you will install, configure, deploy, maintain, secure and support enterprise infrastructure and systems both on-premise and in the cloud. This ranges all the way from physical equipment in on premise datacenters, through operating systems and server software, configuration of appliances, cloud services and SaaS solutions. Don't worry-we'll guide you through the forest of policies and settings.

Trailblazing Trainee: As our team grows, you'll help pioneer new endpoint territories. Meet with customers and governance groups to understand and meet their needs. As you become more confident in your knowledge and needs of our customers, you will help provide training to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support positions and share the responsibility of on-call technical support.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in:

Hardware: Knowledge of specifications, uses, and types of computer or computer-related equipment.
Infrastructure Design: Knowledge of the architecture and typology of software, hardware, and networks, including LANS, WANS, and telecommunications systems, their components and associated protocols and standards, and how they operate and integrate with one another and with associated controlling software.
Operating Systems: Knowledge of computer network, desktop, and mainframe operating systems and their applications.
Systems Integration: Knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures for installing, integrating, and optimizing information systems components.

Equivalent to those typically gained by:

Training in computer science, information technology, or system administration - or a similar field or professional experience - that provided knowledge of systems, networking software, hardware, protocols, and scripting/automation tools.
