ASI is seeking a qualified individual for our T-6A Subject Matter Expert position to support an anticipated contract with the US Air Force (USAF).
This position is REMOTE.
This is a full-time, on-site position, which requires an active SECRET clearance.
The Role Apply expert-level knowledge of T-6A aircraft systems and operations, and USAF flying regulations and procedures to: Create, validate, update, and incorporate standards for flying training on designated platforms into instructor-based and computer-based training materials.
Develop, update, and validate questions used in knowledge checks and examinations.
Confirm the relevance and accuracy of scenarios and graphics used in all instructional materials.
Collaborate with team members and the customer in all phases of the instructional design and development process.
Responsibilities This role offers the chance to play a strategic part in delivering innovative, mission-critical, and effective training solutions to a client Apply expert-level knowledge of T-6A aircraft systems and operations, and USAF flying regulations and procedures to: Create, validate, update, and incorporate standards for flying training on designated platforms into instructor-based and computer-based training materials Develop, update, and validate questions used in knowledge checks and examinations Confirm the relevance and accuracy of scenarios and graphics used in all instructional materials Collaborate with team members and the customer in all phases of the instructional design and development process What We Require Bachelors degree Previously qualified as an instructor pilot (IP) for T-6A Undergraduate Pilot Training / Pilot Instructor Training Experience within the last two years as a T-6A simulator instructor may be substituted for T-6A UPT/PIT IP qualification, if the candidate has previously flown the T-6A aircraft At least 1,000 hours of total jet time in U.S. military aircraft Thorough knowledge of T-6A aircraft systems and operations and working knowledge of USAF flying regulations and procedures Knowledge of the Instructional Design and Development process An active Secret clearance is required for this work Qualified military veterans are encouraged to apply Life at ASI Be part of an innovative team shaping the future USAF training.
