Tack Distributor Truck Driver

*Overview*Work will primarily consist of operating a Tack Distributer Tanker Truck to apply tack coat to roadways ahead of the paving crew. Position is seasonal, typically May thru November.*Duties, Responsibilities, & Requirements*· Show up to work on time as scheduled.· May be required to perform manual labor duties, such as assist with the installation of hot mix asphalt.· Operate company vehicles in a responsible manner.· Perform pre-shift safety inspections.· Perform preventative maintenance, such as greasing, cleaning, light mechanical· Other duties as assigned.*Qualifications*· CDL-A license with tanker endorsement and hazmat required· Ability to work independently in absence of supervision.· Ability to work effectively with others.· Ability to perform manual labor· Ability to pass a drug test.· Mechanical ability preferred.· Strong desire to work required.*Work Environment*· May be required to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions.· Work environment is in a road construction type setting, which will include exposure to various hazards such as dust, vehicle traffic, elevated noise levels, etc.· Work may involve nighttime operations.*Reports To:* Paving SuperintendentThis job description does not constitute an employment agreement between the employer and employee and is subject to change by the employer as the needs of the employer and requirements of the job change.Job Type: Full-timePay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 – 60 per weekBenefits:* Dental insurance* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Health savings account* Life insurance* Referral program* Vision insuranceSupplemental Pay:* Yearly bonusExperience:* Driving: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* CDL A (Required)Ability to Relocate:* West Lebanon, NH: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: On the road
