Furthermore, in collaboration with the Tailings Engineer, help ensure the facility is in compliance with GISTM, MAC and CDA guidelines.Responsibilities:Strong commitment and adherence to all Safety Policies and Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) including the Tailings Operation, Maintenance and Surveillance Manual (OMS) to comply with regulation requirements and commitments.Conducting regular piezometer, settlement plates, slope inclinometers and water level readings, and GPS/drone field work readings, inputting data into spreadsheets, and reporting.Drilling and test pitting programsTailings pond sampling programsSurvey and GPS/LiDAR drone field workInstrumentation data and equipment managementOther field and office assignmentsQualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mining/Geological Engineering or related engineering field from an accredited curriculum is required.
