A leading player in the automotive/retail industry is searching for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the company s vision by attracting and hiring top-tier talent. They are looking for an experienced recruiter with exposure to the automotive industry to manage the full lifecycle of recruitment, develop effective strategies to meet the diverse hiring needs of the company s dealerships, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. You'll get to work out of a brand-new office in Los Angeles, CA, where leadership prioritizes creating a positive work atmosphere, where people love coming to work. Pay Range:
$65, 000 - $110, 000 / year DOE
Responsibilities
Lead the entire recruitment process, from creating job postings and developing ads to placing candidates, ensuring a stellar candidate experience and alignment with the organization's mission and vision
Focus on roles such as automotive technicians, sales advisors, managers, and other retail positions
Collaborate with department managers to accurately identify hiring needs
Develop and refine job descriptions and criteria to effectively meet the diverse requirements of the organization's departments
Craft and implement efficient recruiting methods and strategies based on industry standards and organizational needs
Oversee the use of platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor, and remain open to exploring new recruiting tools
Handle the candidate screening and selection process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
Oversee the preparation of interview materials and conduct interviews alongside managers and directors to identify the best candidates
Travel to dealerships in LA, San Diego, Newport Beach, Pasadena, Glendale, and San Jose to understand hiring needs, build relationships with hiring managers, and promote candidates
Meet rigorous hiring standards and competitive challenges, especially in sourcing master technicians
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years'experience in talent acquisition within the automotive sector
Proven track record with recruiting agencies for more than 2 years
Bachelor's degree
Must have worked with companies of 100+ employees
Exceptional integrity, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and honesty in all aspects of work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a proactive and problem-solving approach
