They love to promote from within They acquired 10 Technology companies at the start of 2022 and are poised to continue to grow Recently selected by Forbes as "Best In-State Wealth Advisors" "Everyone here is very friendly and helpful" "I learned a lot during my time here in the Accounting & Tax department" What the Tax Accountant will do… Preparation of federal, international and state tax returns Calculate tax provisions and maintain tax disclosures under US GAAP Assist with income tax accounting (ASC 740) including the preparation of half-year and full-year tax provisions, calculation of the effective tax rate, and assisting with the annual financial audit Research tax law for tax compliance, taxability issues and special projects; prepare relevant memos that analyze statutes, regulations, rulings, case law, and other relevant authority Coordinate, assist, and provide guidance for tax audit defense and tax compliance notices including corresponding with governing agencies during the process What the company needs in a Tax Accountant: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related Prior experience in federal, state, and local taxes Experience with tax systems such as CCH or Prosystems a plus Strong technical skills Highly motivated individual Salary range: $70000-90000
