KPMG is currently seeking a Tax Associate to join our International Tax practice.
Responsibilities: Advise clients on import and export matters in a variety of industriesExamine U.S. and international import and export trade mattersResearch, write and review international trade adviceFormulate ideas and deliver possible trade savings opportunitiesAssist in the delivery of multiple client engagements on time and within budget; maintain active communication with clients in an effort to manage expectations and to help enhance client satisfactionSupport clients with the implementation of global trade automated solutionsBuild capabilities in key technologies that enable tax professionals for client service delivery such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx, Power BI, and moreQualifications: Must be pursuing and have obtained by the start date or have completed the following degrees/majors in the past 12 months: Bachelors and/or Masters in Business (Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Tax, or other business-related major), International Affairs (International Studies, Political Science, Sociology), Data or related degree, or equivalent program from an accredited college or universityPreferred GPA of 3.0 or aboveDemonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude, critical thinking skills and ability to navigate MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and AccessExcellent communication, time management and leadership skills; flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality workAbility to learn and navigate technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Alteryx and Power BIMust reside within a reasonably commutable distance to the office for this position and be able to travel to reasonably commutable work locations using own means of transportation, such as a personal vehicle or public transportationAbility to travel domestically and internationally and/or work on-site at client premises as needed, at times with relatively short noticeAuthorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future is preferredKPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
