A law firm in Omaha, NE, is seeking a skilled Tax Credits Associate Attorney to join their team. This role involves working on various transactional matters, including tax and real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will be keenly interested in transactional practice, covering partnership law, corporate law, tax, real estate, and finance deals. The position requires drafting and reviewing complex financial agreements and demands exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work on transactional matters related to tax credits, real estate, and finance.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex financial agreements.
Provide legal advice on partnership law, corporate law, tax issues, and real estate transactions.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support casework.
Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, partners, and colleagues, both orally and in writing.
Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to achieve client goals.
Demonstrate creative problem-solving and critical thinking in all tasks.
Maintain high attention to detail and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Meet strict deadlines while working with a sense of urgency.
Requirements:
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from a fully accredited U.S. law school.
Excellent academic record preferred.
May be currently admitted to practice in Nebraska with an active Bar license in good standing OR be able to obtain a Nebraska Bar license within one year.
Demonstrated ability to draft and review complex agreements.
Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
