Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Tax Director to join their Financial Services group in their Boca Raton, FL office.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop strong relationships with key clients in the financial services industryProvide tax advisory services, including tax planning, structuring, and complianceMitigate tax risks while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulationsKeep up-to-date on changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of updatesPrepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsMentor the tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance cultureProvide guidance and training to staff on technical tax issues and professional developmentIdentify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services industryRun proposals, pitch to potential clients, and negotiate service agreementsImprove the firm's market presence through leadership, networking, and industry eventsRequirements10+ years of tax experiencePublic accounting background requiredFinancial services industry knowledgeExperience working with Private Equity and Hedge FundsKnowledge of tax laws and regulationsCPA strongly preferredSkilled in Excel
