Tax Director

Our client is a leading global investment management firm. They seek a Tax Director to join their Los Angeles, CA office.
ResponsibilitiesManage teams and projects related to the global funds tax reporting functionAnalyze tax data and transactions to streamline reporting and inform decision-makingSupervise a talented team of tax professionals and grow and develop their careersLiaise with external service providers to manage tax reporting deliverablesOversee global tax transformation initiatives through tax operations and projectsWork to monitor and mitigate tax risk across the fundsAssess fund transactions, domestic and cross-border acquisitions, and restructuringsReview new rules and regulations that impact partners and global investmentsAnswer various investor tax inquiries such as tax withholding reporting obligationsWork closely with state and federal tax authorities, including audit responsesRequirementsBachelor's degree, MBA preferred11+ years of tax experiencePublic (Big 4) or combo accounting backgroundFinancial services industry backgroundTax compliance and transaction experienceSupervisory experience requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCPA strongly preferred
