This is a highly visible role, responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax, and providing guidance for the broader finance team, and serving as liaison between the company, external auditors and tax consultants. This position will be based in New York. We are looking for a team player with a positive "can do" attitude, showing an initiative to develop company's tax function and transition tax services from external providers in house. This individual enjoys thinking through complex tax topics and breaking them down for the wider finance team.What You Will Do:Responsible for accounting for income taxes in the US and International subsidiaries, quarterly and annual tax provision.Tax disclosures and footnotes for SEC filingsLead FIN 48 analysisGILTI calculationsTax SOX compliance and process improvementsResponsible for assessing complex one off tax matters/transactionsResponsible for compliance, planning and filings for all tax mattersCoordinate preparation of annual federal, state, international and local tax returnsResearch impact and assess risk on various tax issues; write and support tax position papersPerform tax planning and due diligence for issues related to future potential acquisitionsManage the preparation of transfer pricing documentation (foreign subsidiaries) and implementation policiesWork with external consultants as neededResearch and assist with tax matters related to sales and use tax, payroll tax.What You Will Need:Master's Degree in Business Taxation preferredCPA preferredAt least ten years of related experience.
