Tax Director

We have a hybrid Tax Director role with our privately held client in Seattle. Wonderful opportunity with a great company! Manages a small tax team and is responsible for in-house tax compliance (Federal, State and Local filings), tax provision, and tax planning. Heavy emphasis on partnerships. Must have good demeanor and communication skills to work with team, field, and owners.
Essential Responsibilities:Provide tax planning support for new business activitiesResponsible for the completion of federal and state income tax returns including all related analysis and supportResponsible for in-house preparation of sales and use, general excise tax, real and personal property tax returnsResponsible for audits of federal, state, and local filingsRespond to related tax correspondence and research issues as they arise and recommend courses of action as neededCalculate monthly tax reserve requirementPrepare the annual tax provision for financial reporting purposesOversee cost segregation studiesEnsuring that appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for taxesCompensation up to $190k plus bonus.
