Tax Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our team.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all tax-related matters for our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liability for the organizationEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulationsPrepare and review tax returns, including corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returnsConduct tax research and analysis to stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulationsManage tax audits and inquiries from tax authoritiesAdvise management on tax implications of proposed business decisionsCollaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reportingSupervise and mentor tax staff
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldCPA certificationMinimum of 5 years of experience in tax accountingExperience with tax compliance, tax planning, and tax researchKnowledge of international, real estate, multi-state, and federal tax laws and regulationsExperience with corporation, pass-through, trust, and estate taxationExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
