Tax Manager - Family Wealth Services

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Tax Manager to join our Family Wealth Services team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management, preferably with a CPA certification, and a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations surrounding individual, trust, estate, and high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all tax-related functions for our Family Wealth Services clients, including tax planning, preparation, and filing for individual, trust, and estate tax returns.Provide strategic tax planning advice to high net worth individuals and families, maximizing tax savings and minimizing liabilities.Conduct thorough research and analysis of tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and compliant tax reporting.Collaborate with legal and financial advisors to develop comprehensive tax strategies for clients.Review and approve all tax documents and filings prepared by junior staff members.Communicate with clients regarding their tax-related questions and concerns, providing exceptional client service.Stay updated on changes to tax laws and regulations and communicate any potential impacts to clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA or EA certification is required.5+ years of experience in tax management, preferably with experience in fiduciary, trust, estate, and individual tax returns.Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, especially those related to high net worth individuals and families.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
