Tax Manager

Alliance Resource Group has partnered with a local CPA firm looking to add a tax manager to their team. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and be responsible for the tax compliance and consulting for the firm's tax clientele.
The CPA firm specializes in small to mid-size clientele. The tax compliance is an even split between pass-through and high net worth individuals. Most importantly, their firm's motto is we work to live and max busy season hours at 48 hours/week.
This firm will consider candidates who are looking for an opportunity post tax season as well.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Facilitate and manage the preparation and review of Individual and Business Tax ReturnsReview tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projectionsManage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the tax returns and other tax filings/documentsPrepare complex tax returns and identify tax planning opportunitiesStay up to date with tax legislation and apply new tax rulings to current clienteleQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or EquivalentMust have a CPA or EA licenseAlliance Resource GroupA Southern California accounting and finance staffing agency.Southern California Headquarters2525 Main Street
