Tax ManagerResponsibilitiesAs a Tax Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop a team while providing outstanding customer service to our clients. If you have strong technical skills and are in a managerial or supervisory role in tax compliance, quality assurance, and tax planning to a diversified, closely held client base, we'd love to talk with you!
Your Role:Managing our tax department in tax compliance, and tax provision to pass-through and C-corporation entities with an emphasis on manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, and professional services. We deal primarily with closely held, entrepreneurial companies and their owners.Quality assurance on entity and individual tax returnsHelping to develop, build and manage client relationshipsAssisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staffManage, in team environment, the work flow of product through the tax department8 years or more of relevant progressive experience in public accounting tax including technical tax compliance, planning & projections and researchBachelor's degree in accounting; MST a plusCPA certification (EA considered)Strong computer skills, CCH Axcess, RIA Checkpoint, Quickbooks experience a plus Soft SkillsExperience managing multiple client engagementsA strong sense of ownership for delivering outstanding client serviceExcellent supervisory, team building, and time management skillsThis position is in our San Jose office; we are open to a hybrid in office / remote arrangement. Salary - To be discussed depending on experience.
