Your Role:Managing our tax department in tax compliance, planning and quality assurance We deal primarily with closely held, entrepreneurial companies and their owners.Quality assurance on individual, fiduciary, estate, gift and partnership tax returnsHelping to develop, build and manage client relationshipsAssisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staffManage, in team environment, the work flow of product through the tax department Qualifications5 - 7 years or more of relevant progressive experience in public accounting tax including technical tax compliance, planning & projections and researchBachelor's degree in accounting; MST a plusCPA certification (EA considered)Strong computer skills, CCH Axcess, RIA Checkpoint, Quickbooks experience a plus Soft SkillsExperience managing multiple client engagementsA strong sense of ownership for delivering outstanding client serviceExcellent supervisory, team building, and time management skills This position is in our San Jose office; we are open to a hybrid in office / remote arrangement. Salary - To be discussed depending on experience.
