Job Responsibilities Perform technical review of tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, S and C-corporationsFamiliarity with Subchapter K rulesAbility to identify and research common tax issues that arise in client engagementsIdentify key planning opportunities throughout the year and develop a framework for tax strategies that best align with client needs and goalsAssist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirementsSupport the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives, and budgetsProvide consultation on business and/or individual tax transactions (if applicable), the related tax implications, consequences, and treatmentDevelop responses to IRS and other regulatory and tax authorities' audits, notices and inquiriesManage teams effectively to ensure engagement profitability in the short and long term sustainability of practiceCoach and mentor staff and seniors on client engagements and career path Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related disciplineMinimum of 4 years of US tax consulting/compliance experience within public accountingExperience with a wide variety of entity types, partnerships most preferredMinimum 1 year in a managerial role involving clients and team membersCPA or equivalent credential Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in TaxationExperience with the Financial Services industry supporting Private Equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate Armanino provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
