Who is successful at BPM: Caring people who put others firstSelf-starters who embody the BPM entrepreneurial spiritAuthentic individuals with a diverse point of viewLifelong learners with a drive to excelResilient people who rise to the occasionWe Have: Consistent recognition as one of the Bay Area's "Best Places to Work"Recognition as "Top 5 Accounting Firm in the Bay Area"Summer Hours – Leave early on Friday afternoons from June to August!BPMU – A corporate university that's dedicated to your career growth and developmentFlexibility in your day-to-day work scheduleRich diversity in the clients, industries, and overall workRequirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, technology, or related field.Working knowledge of tax compliance and consulting with a variety of clients in varying industries.Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a professional services organization with a taxation focus.Prefer experience from Big 4 or other large international accounting or consulting firm.The ability to oversee complex tax research projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries.Able to manage multiple complex projects and deliver in a timely manner.Ability or interest in generating and building business, ability to delegate work and manage staff.Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Experience mentoring and training more junior level team members.Responsibilities: Maintain and developing client relationships as primary client contact on all tax compliance and consulting matters.Provide tax compliance and consulting to a diverse base of flow-through clients in the Real-Estate, Crypto Currency, Venture Capital, REIT projects, Private Equity and/or Wine Industry.Work with clients to minimize their federal, state, and local tax liability.Deliver and Develop innovative financial planning ideas that meet or exceed client expectations.Oversee complex tax research projects for a variety of clients and diverse industries.Develop recommendations and implementation plans for clients and team members.Develop and motivate tax seniors and associates by reviewing their work and providing them with counseling, leadership and career guidance.Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 a year
The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position. Candidates who do not reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, do not meet the minimum requirements, or exceed the requirements are encouraged to apply and a recruiter will provide you with a range specific to your location and qualifications.
