Position Overview: Our client is currently seeking a talented Tax Senior to join their Frederick team. In this role, you'll contribute to tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for a diverse clientele. Responsibilities: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
Assist in tax planning and consulting projects, providing insights to optimize client finances.
Conduct research on tax regulations and legislation to offer guidance to clients and team members.
Support with tax audits and address inquiries from tax authorities.
Foster client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on tax matters.
Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
3+ years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax preparation and compliance.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex tax issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for client interactions and team collaboration.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
