Essential Functions: Train staff and interns in the preparation of complex tax returns including: 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S. Technical review of tax returns prepared by tax staff including: 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S. Provide necessary support and resources to staff and interns so they achieve objectives. Monitor the quality of product and performance of tax staff and interns, providing reviews, feedback and reports to supervisors with recommendations. Manage and oversee monthly billing functions and monitor additions to work-in-progress, aging and write-downs. Facilitate and present in "in-house" Continuing Professional Education and training activities. Communicate and interface with clients to ensure the clients' best interests are achieved. Maintain CPA Certification and adequate Continuing Professional Education units. Stay abreast of developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures.
Qualifications: Master degree in Accounting or related field Must meet eligibility requirements to sit for the CPA Exam Minimum 4 years of experience in public accounting Minimum 2 years of experience in Senior Tax Associate role Must have experience and knowledge of current U.S. Tax Laws
