JOB SUMMARY: Oversees the daily operation and is the first point of contact for Team Members, guests, and interdepartmental partners in support of a Supervisor. Provides area coverage managing hourly staff in support of the Management team. Leads operation to ensure guest and team member safety, efficient delivery and recovery of equipment, positive guest interactions and maintains the daily labor budgets. Accountable for training and preparation including re-certification and compliance training.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all operational duties supporting scheduled inventory projects. Provides operational coverage for Supervision, maintains current lines of communication with Event and Admissions partners and Equipment and Technology Attendants. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, completing opening and closing checklist for operational readiness and conducting inventory of equipment. Assists with escalating IT issues and tracking technology equipment utilized at the front gates.
Responsible for the consistent execution of established safety procedures, operational standards, motivating team members and responds to escalated guest/partner situations. Effectively applies the UO service model of Look, Focus, Act to satisfy and resolve the needs of the guests and the team members. Coaches team member performance, conducts daily shift meetings, and responsible for enhancing the Team Member experience. Documents performance utilizing the Team Captain Observation Reports as directed by management. Assists management in the dissemination of general company and department specific information and communication.
Provides UKG (Kronos) assistance to scheduling and management teams. Ensure daily staffing levels and rotation schedules are adjusted according to Team Member call ins. Responsible for running overtime reports, labor reports and proper Kronos coding of all assigned shifts. Monitors daily labor and communicates challenges or trends with on duty Supervisor.
Effectively communicates to the Management team on status of projects by understanding and identifying in-progress, complete, and incomplete projects status. Understands and navigates successfully through the proper channels used to track projects to complete, such as Power Apps, SmartSheet, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, etc. Actively tracks daily project completion through the Supply Delivery App and Team Captain Journals. Works closely with the Park Operations Inventory Coordinator to track progress of long-term projects.
Responsible for overseeing training and is the first point of contact for new hires. Completes OJT checklists and reviews Equipment and Technology SOP.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:High school degree or GED is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:1+ year of Leadership experience within an operation preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:Valid Florida Driver's License required.
