The Immigrant & Refugee Services Division at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is seeking a Full Time RSIG/RHP/SOR Team Lead to support Refugee Support Services program. The Team Lead will be responsible for the following primary job duties:
The RSIG/RHP/SOR Team Lead will play an essential role in overseeing the Refugee School Impact, Refugee Health Promotion, and Services for Older Refugees programs. The Team Lead will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities assigned to RHP, SOR and RSIG teams and ensuring programs goals and objectives are accomplished. The Team Lead job duties include but are not limited to the following:
• Understand all aspects of the RHP, SOR and RSIG programs to organize and coordinate RHP, SOR and RSIG activities in compliance with the program requirements.
• Lead, train and manage a team of Case Workers responsible for program deliverables.
• Set clear objectives for the team, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
• Monitor client database to ensure all required notes related to check distribution, monthly redetermination, employment, reduction and change in the status are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Provide periodic reports to the Program Manager highlighting program challenges, trends and achievements.
• Ensure that all checks are distributed on time and assist the Payment Facilitators with any eligibility questions.
• Conduct regular team meetings as well as individual meetings to manage caseload, monitor trends, and evaluate team and individual performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
