As a Team Lead at PhotoMules, you'll play a crucial role in leading a team of talented photographers and sales members, ensuring the highest standards of quality, customer satisfaction, and sales performance are met at every event. You'll coordinate all event operations within your assigned region, manage logistics, and provide hands-on leadership to your team, making sure every event is a success.Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Lead to oversee event operations and manage the performance of a designated region. The Team Lead will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of Photographers/Sales Members, ensuring smooth event execution, maintaining high customer satisfaction, driving sales and profit, and upholding operational standards. This is both a logistics and managerial position, requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously.Key Responsibilities: Weekday Responsibilities: Event Preparation & Coordination: Manage the preparation for events within the Texas region as assigned by the District Manager. This includes logistical planning, equipment setup, and coordination with team members.Team Training & Development: Oversee the training of new staff and ensure all team members are prepared for upcoming events. You'll ensure your team understands the expectations for performance, customer service, and photography quality.Staff Coordination: Lead and coordinate with the team members assigned to your events, ensuring that roles are clear and everyone is working towards a common goal.Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all photography equipment and company vehicles are maintained and in good working order, ready for each event. Weekend Responsibilities: Event Leadership: Attend at least three events per month to lead and train staff on-site. You will manage the event's flow, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to our high-quality standards.On-Call Support: Provide on-call support to team members throughout the district to resolve any issues that arise during events. You'll handle problems as they emerge and guide your team to effective solutions.Sales Leadership: Drive sales by engaging with customers and promoting our photography services and products. Your ability to inspire and guide your team will directly impact overall performance and revenue.Team Success: Lead by example, ensuring that your team delivers exceptional customer service and high-quality photos at every event.Cash Management & Logistics: Oversee cash handling, equipment management, and vehicle care during events, ensuring all assets are properly tracked and accounted for. Skills & Requirements: Leadership Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in a customer-facing environment.Photography Knowledge: While experience is a plus, it is not required. A general understanding of photography and photo quality standards is helpful.Sales & Customer Service Expertise: Proven ability to lead sales efforts, manage customer relationships, and provide excellent service under pressure.Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities to effectively lead and support your team, while maintaining clear communication with clients and event organizers.Organizational & Analytical Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, plan events, and track performance data.Problem-Solving: Quick thinker with the ability to resolve challenges as they arise during events.Physical Stamina: Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and standing for long periods.Weekend Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Friday-Sunday), as most events occur during these times.Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel to event locations across Texas and occasionally beyond.Valid Driver's License: Required for travel.
