Monitor and confirm that manufacturing operating system standards are being applied and adhered to throughout the area.
What you'll do...
Responsible for dimensional control and joining engineering activities in the Bodyshop
Responsible Team Manager for TOW side of KCAP Truck employees including fit, repair and inventory control
New Program Supervisor, planning and managing the required resources for launch activities
Lead for and coordination of Truck Body QOS including all Quality initiatives and report outs for Truck Body
Responsible lead for Bodyshop Incoming quality (Control plant, form 26, 3rdparty sort)
Develop and maintain control plans with the team. Monitor adherence to and reaction to control plans
Drive Pp/Ppk of the build utilizing engineering & layout team including tooling adjustment and improvement
Support BCC, PCC, DCC amd ZCC
Create Projects & Purchase Requisitions
Perform supervisory duties (e.g. T&DM, performance reviews, travel requests, timecard approvals) for all personnel assigned – and participate in performance reviews Drive linkage with support groups (e.g. tooling, gauging, IT, MP&L, Plant Eng'g, Productivity, etc.)
Quality Health Chart assessment & High Hurts prioritization
Incorporate continuous improvements utilizing Lessons Learned
Department liaison to Quality department and QOSC's
Drive continuous improvement mindset in all One Ford / SQDCME objectives
Establish and maintain consistent priorities to fully utilize engineering resources in the most efficient manner
FPS principles, plant RTO, JPH planning and capacity planning, support plant project writing
You'll have...
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Production experience
Strong ability to interface with plant hourly, salaried personnel and plant management
Strong ability to present in front of plant management
Ability to teach Ford Production System principles
Union negotiations experience
Competent in the use of data for decision making
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to resolve diverse problems
Need to work well under pressure and to be able to work under crisis management when necessary
Having the ability to work and multi-task in fast pace environment

Lead Process Coach experience
6-sigma designation preferred
