Team Manager- Extension

As a Team Manager, you will be part of the GPC Operations team and will report to the Section Head of Extension. As a GB Team Manager, your work involves ensuring the process and dispatch of orders planned for the period (day, month, and year). This includes timely packing of raw material (min. ageing), VOR & critical orders with the highest productivity, and maintaining material flow on the shop floor through optimal utilization of resources. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment to improve OEE by loss elimination and ensuring 100% JH activities adherence. The goal is to ensure packing of the right material at the right time and in the right quantity for customer satisfaction.

Adherence to daily plan with respect to business needs & manpower handling.Monitoring of backordered parts.Achieve operational excellence by adhering to the best practices of TPM and generating ideas for innovation on the shop floor.Training need identification for operators & preparation of skill matrix, making efforts to upgrade the skill level.A Day in the LifeYour responsibilities will include:
Providing training to workers related to IMS standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001) and TPM.Encouraging the team to provide suggestions related to saving in energy consumption and process improvements in their respective areas.Manpower handling.Responsible for quality & quantity as per GB.Managing order processing with respect to the business plan.Adherence to plan with respect to open orders & releasable RM available.Monitoring backorder parts & executing based on the orders received.Practicing TPM, JH circle awareness, CLIT, Tag, and suggestions on the shop floor.OEE monitoring as well as planning for improvement.SOP preparation.Participation in audits on procedures/systems.Training identification and planning, training matrix formation, and development of skill matrix to upgrade the skill level of operators.Academic Qualification & ExperienceB.Tech./B.E with 4-5 years of experience.
