Arty's Ice Cream Parlor in West Liberty, IA is looking to hire multiple team members to join our strong team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable. This position is an entry level position and doesn't require any pre requirements . Ideal Candidate is a high school student with minimal to moderate after school programs.
This location will not host food (yet) so all employees will be introduced to ice cream, smoothies, waffles, energy drinks etc.
We would love someone not in school even! Pay rate for experience is a different scale. A full-time salaried position is available for this location. Please communicate with owner if you have interest.
We will also promote TWO team members to Assistant Mangers once we open and see who stands out. This position will come with a pay raise along with a key to the Parlor & more growth, opportunities, benefits within Artys.

Here are the hours we are looking to have:
7am-7pm 7 days a week Responsibilities & expectations be on time. have reliable transportation. be able to multitask. lift minimum of 20lbs general communication skills be a team player. be able to take directions & accomplish tasks in a timely manner. follow all policies and procedures. be honest & respectful. We have a pooled tip program. Tips can generate anywhere from as low as $1-$6 extra per hour! Example: Pay is $8.25, separated tips at the end of the night of a 5-hour shift is $15- that adds $3 to your wage making it $11.25/hour. Current average is about $4 to $6 extra per hour based on sales and traffic. All depends on the initiative and customer care we give so the number could be higher!!
Arty's Ice Cream Parlor will operate 7 days a week. We are looking for minimum 3-20 hours a week to fill these positions.
