JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for driving, towing, guiding and supporting Parade Floats.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely drive float units weighing up to 26,000lbs. Safely maneuver obstacles both back stage and onstage. Adhere to predetermined driving locations, paths and speeds while maintaining communication and direction.
As needed, assist with towing other float units, driving back stage and onstage, loading and unloading of characters and guests. Assist with props and technical systems readiness.
Operate technical equipment, such as on board show control, communications, audio, lighting, video and special effects.
Provide logging of technical performance/show quality, detailed examples for maintenance personnel. Performing small projects and modifications to systems as directed by UO Management.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED: Required
EXPERIENCE:
Proven ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Preferred 2-4 years previous customer/guest interaction experience.
Preferred experience driving large vehicles.
Preferred experience using audio, lighting and special effects equipment.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Florida Driver's License is required.
