Key Technology:support experience, UNIX, Splunk, TCP/IP traces Job Responsibilities: Provides production support in the Cards and Payments domain using AIX operating systems. Develop UNIX Shell scripts for monitoring and reporting. Create alerting and monitoring reports using Splunk. Monitor applications using AIX operating system with UNIX, C Programming, and SPLUNK. Assist merchants, gateways and vendors when troubleshooting issues and implementing new functionality in production. Provide guidance to new merchants going live with the latest software application. Implement change records and analyzes incident records to provide responses within contractual SLA's. Research and troubleshoot incident records assigned via Service Point, based on priority and severity. Work as part of a team to provide shift coverage on a rotational basis. Shifts include weekends. Skills and Experience Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT degree 24×7 production support experience in a financially impactful environment (3+ years experience) 3+ years' experience writing UNIX Shell scripts 3+ years' experience creating awk and shell scripts 3+ years working knowledge of the Card and Payments domain 2+ years' experience writing Splunk queries 2+ years' experience in Incident, change problem management 3+ years' experience reading TCP/IP traces Knowledge of ISO 8583 message standards and regulations.
