This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to leverage their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment while gaining exposure to various technical domains.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with ISSOs to ensure compliance with security protocols and assist in the implementation of security measures.Support systems administrators in the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system performance and reliability.Participate in configuration audits and assessments to ensure adherence to policies.Assist in infrastructure development tasks, including configuration, deployment, and testing of new systems and tools.Provide support for platform capabilities, helping to optimize and enhance user experience and system functionality.Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning and execution of project initiatives.Facilitate communication between teams to ensure alignment and efficiency in project delivery.Document processes, procedures, and best practices to improve operational workflows.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in relevant technical area of study with 2-3 years of relevant experience; or, 5 years of experience without a degreeWillingness to work onsite in Herndon, VAUS Citizen with an active TS/SCI (willingness to obtain a CI poly)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Basic understanding of information systems, cybersecurity principles, infrastructure management, or configuration management tools (JIRA, Confluence Asset Management) highly preferred.Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.Preferred Skills:Experience in military or technical environments is a plus but not mandatory.Familiarity with project management concepts or methodologies.#cjpost#LI-RD#LI-OnsiteIn support of pay transparency at Maxar, we disclose salary ranges on all of our U.S. job postings. To accommodate all locations, we have listed the bottom to the top of the possible range, and will share the target range for a specific location during the recruiting discussion. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidates unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience.
