We are experiencing and expecting significant growth and are looking for the right Technical Sales Leader to join our team! As a Technical Sales Leader you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our Solutions engineering team and the needs of our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients while understanding their technical requirements and translating them into tailored solutions in collaboration with our team of qualified engineers.
\n Key Responsibilities:Customer Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing technical expertise on SIS-TECH's offerings. Technical Expertise: A base level (or better is a plus) understanding of instrumentation, controls, and SIS in order to effectively communicate how SIS-TECH's expertise can align with client needs.Proposal Development: In conjunction with SIS-TECH Solutions engineering team, coordinate the preparation and presentation of accurate and detailed proposals based on customer specifications, providing clear explanations of the technical aspects involved.Market Intelligence: Participate in activities to ensure up-to-date understanding of industry trends, new products and opportunities that may benefit SIS-TECH, including current pricing models.Collaboration and Training: Work closely with the engineering team to pursue continuous learning and technical knowledge improvement to deliver accurate information externally and ensure strong customer support through seamless communication and execution of projects.Sales Targets: Responsibility for achievement of sales targets; actively seek out new business opportunities and expand the customer base.Self-sufficiency: As this position requires significant time at client sites, position also requires excellent time management skills, initiative to self-manage business development efforts, accurately report results timely, create strong pattern of communication with home office when offsite, attend weekly sales meetings and other leadership meetings as required. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business management, business development or 10 years in related field. Engineering degreed candidates will be given first priority.Minimum 5 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the petrochemical industry.A base level (or better is a plus) understanding of petrochemical instrumentation, controls, and SIS. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to comprehend complex technical information and present it in a clear and understandable manner. Results-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.The successful candidate will have technical orientation with strong team skills. Your ability to bridge the gap between customer relationship-based sales and in-house engineering processes will drive the growth and success of our business.
