Do you enjoy learning about new technologies and figuring out how they can help to accelerate a scientist's research? Do you love the challenge of tackling a new territory with a strategy that you put together yourself? If you've answered 'yes' to all these questions, you'd really enjoy working on the Sales Team at NanoTemper Technologies.
As part of the Sales Team, you will play an important role in educating scientists and driving interest for our products in your territory. You'll work with an experiences sales specialist and be partnered with an Applications Specialist and as a team, you'll coordinate efforts in managing the prospects and customers. You'll also get a chance to inspire your teammates by sharing your knowledge and expertise and be inspired by your colleague's success stories.
This role is supporting the Pacific Northwest territory. We are prioritizing  individuals physically located in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, sponsorship is currently not available.
What You'll Do Achieve sales goals for your territoryExpand your business by generating new leads and adding accounts in your territoryDevelop and execute your plan for the territory that will help you meet or exceed your annual goalsDocument, track and manage your pipeline via Salesforce.comGive product/scientific presentations to elicit interest in NanoTemper's productsRepresent NanoTemper at conference exhibits and sales eventsUse social selling skills to find new prospectsOccasionally lift heavy items for demo purposes What You'll Bring 2-5 years' sales experience in the Life Science industry ideally with capital equipmentComfortable with up to 40% travel cadence, predominantly domestic with some  international travelHas an effective written and verbal communication styleIs great at networking and using creative ways to meet people in professional settingLoves working on a team but is also able to work independentlyLikes to give constructive feedback because that's the only way we all improveCan easily adapt to changing situations and excited by trying new thingsCan juggle multiple projects with easeIs comfortable with using Salesforce to communicate what is going on in their territoryBachelor's degree in Life Science.  Master's or PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, or a related field a plus What We Offer Flexible PTO Policy15 Paid Company Holidays16 weeks of 100% paid parental leave regardless of how you choose to grow your familyGenerous medical, dental and vision plans401(k) with company match up to 5% dollar for dollarPre-tax FSA, HSA HRA and Commuter PlanLifestyle spending account to be used towards WiFi and cell phoneMonthly Wellness Stipend New Hire Remote Office StipendVoluntary Pet Insurance Opportunity to travel internationally
