Position Summary Metrea Simulations is looking for a Technical Site Support Specialist to come join our US team and help us build/manage the hardware side of our operations state side.
This entails sourcing and structuring of COTS components for various flight simulation setups such a simulation rigs etc., overseeing inventory as well as on-site deployment for our US customers.
We strive to push the boundaries of what's possible in simulation and you will work closely together with our artists, programmers and domain experts (e.g.
fighter pilots) in doing so.
Furthermore, this will be a customer facing role where you get the chance to directly interact with customer stakeholders such as fighter pilots and program managers within the air force.
Role and Responsibilities Act as the US lead for all hardware and operational requirements from customers and business units Work closely with internal software developers to build solutions based on customer requirements Provide onsite technical support for nationally based aerospace customers Manage existing and source new inventory as required Maintain the reliability and performance of all assets Document customer feedback and communicate this effectively with internal stakeholders Work with internal teams to coordinate all storage and transportation to support customer demonstrations/set up Skills and Experience Experience working in a technical, customer facing role A high sense of self-motivation and initiative Competency in installation and support of IT hardware and simulation rigs Desire to provide a high quality customer service with excellent attention to detail Strong administrative and organizational skills Problem-solving skills Service minded Additional Eligibility Qualifications US Citizenship (able to obtain security clearance) Our Culture Metrea's single core value, "rooted in humility," is supported by four key attributes: entrepreneurial, systematic, discerning, and over-deliver.

Work Environment This position will be based at the Metrea premises in Annapolis Junction.
However, there will be some flexibility for remote work as well as some travel required for supporting our customers on-site.
