JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for training PQS training for Ride & Show Technicians to properly perform preventative maintenance and inspections on all aspects of the attractions and venues they maintain. Responsible for training technical courses to Ride & Show Technicians.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate and monitor the PQS progress of all preventative maintenance, inspection, theory of operation, and ride recovery training needed for an area of responsibility including performing one-on-one training of technicians to PQS SOP requirements.
Train technical courses such as but not limited to, Advance Flame Effects, Crane Operator and Crane Inspector to Ride & Show Technicians.
Responsible to identify new or changing training requirements and notify the Content Development Team (CDT) of the training needs. Support the CDT with required information (PMs, SOPs, OEMs, Pictures, etc) of venues specific data for incorporation into PQS and/or recovery/troubleshooting materials.
Administration and tracking of all PQS training and communicates status and deficiencies to area Managers, Supervisors and Manager, Performance Assessment.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:
Responsible for coordination of all technicians within specific area of responsibility.
EDUCATION:
Associate's degree (AA) from a two-year college or university in Engineering or Technical Field or related preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of field experience at equivalent skill level (show control or mechanic) required;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Ability to attain and maintain the following certifications within an agreed upon at hire timeframe:Crane Operator Train the Trainer
Crane Inspector Train the Trainer
Advance Flame Effects Train the Trainer
Valid Florida Driver's License required to operate company vehicles.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
One year of coordinating and/or facilitating and administrating training processes, with good documentation skills.
