As a Technical Writer for the Sleep & Respiratory Care organization, your duties include creating and editing technical documents while ensuring that the necessary paperwork is produced and delivered on time and in accordance with business procedures.
Your role: Proactively and continuously collecting all necessary information for documentation activities: input documents, organize discussion/meetings with document owners and/or other relevant subject matter experts (SME) or key stakeholders.Working closely with the QA and Post Market Surveillance teams when questions arise about creating, updating, and/or maintaining quality documentation content.Transforming the collected input effectively and efficiently into appropriate format per company processes. This could be Quality, Service, or User documentation.Proactively organizing the review of written document(s) with disciplines involved, handling comments and obtaining all necessary approvals.Performing editorial tasks, e.g., during peer reviews (Periodically review quality documents in scope with process owners to identify updates and/or changes in a proactive manner) and preparing the documents for translation/localization after documentation, as needed.You're the right fit if: You've acquired 3+ years of experience in technical writing, technical training, and/or an information technology related role.Your skills include expertise in the Microsoft Suite (Excel, PDF, etc.), with an understanding of creation and editing on those platforms.You have an associate or bachelor's degree.You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.You're an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, and you have the ability to work positively and effectively across multiple teams.How we work together: We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

The pay range for this position in Murrysville, PA is $57,000 to $97,000. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
